Feedback is provided in a number of ways throughout your module. This includes feedback you receive during teaching from both peers and lecturers and that provided for formative assessment. Following an assessment, you will be given your marks and feedback in line with the assessment regulations and policy. This module will support the development of all the graduate attributes. MS2203 - Mentoring and coaching for leadership

For this module learning will involve developing mentoring and coaching knowledge in workshops. You will also carry out coaching and reflect on your learning within the module during workshops. Finally, during the Spring term when you continue to coach you will continue to develop your coaching knowledge and reflective skills.

Please note that in the spring term there will be an online workshop for all students on the module to attend. This will be timetabled by the mentoring and coaching team who will email students directly about this session. 
Term: Summer (stage 1)
Activity: Application and selection of this elective.
Timeline/Deadlines: Due by July 
 
Term: Autumn (stage 2) 
Activity: 
Classes and workshops, mentoring briefs and pairing mentors to mentees. 
You will also be supported to complete a DBS application, which is required for the safeguarding of the mentees you will be coaching.
By taking this module, you will attend all workshops. If you fail to attend 2 without genuine evidence ,you will lose 10 marks from your recorded coaching session marks. 
Recorded coaching session submission at the end of autumn term.

Attend refresher workshop conducted online. 
Mentoring and Coaching in Practice. 
By taking this module, you may be paired with a school student (16-18yrs old) to deliver your coaching sessions in the spring term. Travel to local school sites in East London will be required.
