The module will focus on analysing the barriers to AI adoption and leadership and using leadership development frameworks as tools to navigate them, as follows:
<ul><li>Individual psychological barriers to AI adoption and leadership in the age of AI (e.g., AI challenges identity, AI reshapes hierarchy, AI introduces loss of control and adds cognitive load)</li><li>Organisation and structural barriers to AI leadership (e.g., restructuring incentives to drive appropriate behaviour, empowering interpretation not just execution, reinforcing human agency)</li><li>Leadership development frameworks for navigating the internal and systemic barriers to AI-era leadership with focus on
<ul><li>Leading the Self (e.g., building psychological readiness)</li><li>Leading others (e.g., developing relational trust and credibility)</li><li>Leading systems (e.g., creating adaptive structures)</li></ul>
