The module is self-contained, but it relies on information delivered in the core modules on Technologies and Innovation and Strategy. No prior experience with AI or Machine Learning is required. The teaching material is based on use cases that are updated every year and some examples may include the following industries:

Feedback is provided in a number of ways throughout your module. This includes feedback you receive during teaching from both peers and lecturers and that provided for formative assessment. Following an assessment, you will be given your marks and feedback in line with the assessment regulations and policy. MBM822 - Leading AI and Industry 4.0

This module will be taught entirely online, with all content, learning activities and assessments accessible from the online learning environment. The module is broken down into weekly topics which you will work through in sequence.  
Each topic will provide you with a variety of materials on the virtual learning environment that will comprise, amongst other things: video lectures, use cases and other external resources that serve to enhance your experiential learning. You are expected to study these materials prior to attending the corresponding webinar with the module leader(s).  The webinars will provide real-time lecture on the relevant concepts and techniques of the weekly topic, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the online material, which will prepare you for the online formative assessment. 
The final formative assessment is an individual coursework that serves to integrate the knowledge accumulated over the six weeks period.
